Are you using Iterative and Incremental Interchangeably?

Lots of organizations often adopt agile without laying the foundation, or the bricks to truly use and understand Agility. This provides avenues where items like Iterative and Incremental can be confusing or used incorrectly.

An iterative process is one that makes progress through continuous updates or changes. The team produces the first iteration of work with the intention of tweaking or adding to it until the final solution is correct. Iterations continue until it is accepted. In simpler terms, we keep doing it over again until we get it right!

Since this post is incremental in nature, you will have to read next week to better understand the incremental approach. cool So, wait for Part 2: Incremental.
